Simply print, cut, and paste to get your own sampler circuit! The sampler is free-running, and the computer can read the data at any time. The sample rate is set by the 270 ohm and 150 pF (10kHz max). The whole unit plugs into Parallel Port - if you can find some power somewhere. (Amigas have +5v in the Parallel connector - YAY!) The external input will take almost anything at normal volume. (CD player, radio, cat, etc.) To ensure start-up, pin 3 of the 0802 should be low when power is first applied. Tying this pin to Reset on comp. seems to work. The 10k pot is a volume control. (But you knew that.) The 1M trimpot sets the DC offset. The DC voltage on pin 6 should equal the voltage on pin 9, if you want your sample to be centred and not clipped. Ensure that the 741 is well bypassed, a few 100n caps wouldn't go astray.
